Iryna Vereshchuk: IDPs should be provided with insulated housing before winter

Internally displaced persons, who are currently staying in the summer sanatoriums without proper heating, will be resettled in housing adapted to the autumn-winter period, Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized.

For this, the local authorities in the regions are already preparing plans for the resettlement of people and insulation of shelters. Procurement procedures are being simplified to speed up reconstruction work.

„We also count on international partners: UNICEF, the UN, the Organization for Migration and other humanitarian organizations – for their help: vouchers for heating, coal, firewood and everything necessary for the winter period,“ Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized.
