Weltveränderung – Wir können die Welt verändern. Zielbewusstsein kann die Menschheit aus der Krise führen

Die ökologischen, wirtschaftlichen und sozialen Krisen, durch die heute unsere Existenz als Menschheit zunehmend bedroht ist, halte ich für eine normale Bewährungsprobe, die wir als eine neue biologische Art in der Evolution zu bestehen haben. Das Neue wären bei uns diejenigen Fähigkeiten, die zur Ansammlung von immer mehr Wissen von Generation zu Generation führen. Diese Anhäufung von Wissen beschleunigt sich selbst und erhöht die Wirksamkeit unserer Technik von Jahr zu Jahr immer schneller. Dadurch werden einerseits unsere freundlichen und konstruktiven Verhaltenstendenzen immer wirksamer und verbessern das menschliche Leben teilweise mit erstaunlicher Geschwindigkeit, aber andererseits verstärken sich auch die aggressiven Wechselwirkungen zwischen Menschen und unsere destruktiven Verhaltenstendenzen richten insgesamt immer größere Schäden an und schaffen immer größeres Leid. Dieser zunehmend gefährliche Zwiespalt ergab sich aus ursprünglich harmlosen Anfängen im Sozialverhalten derjenigen „normalen“ Säugetiere, die unsere evolutionsgeschichtlichen Vorläufer gewesen sind.

It is foreseeable that the accelerated deepening of the division between „good and evil“ or „love and hate“ in human behavior will soon end with a symmetry break at a branching point. At this point, it will inevitably be decided in which of these two opposing directions the conflicting fluctuations between increasingly friendly-constructive and increasingly hostile-destructive behavior will suddenly break through. Therefore, there are two extremely different possibilities for the future of humanity and life on Earth. Either friendly cooperation and mutual respect and love and mutual understanding suddenly prevail in all people, while all hostilities disappear, or earthly life suddenly changes radically due to destructive human influences, causing the biosphere to shift into a state that no longer allows human life and is associated with mass extinction. From scientific theories of self-organization, as I mainly know them from Hermann Haken, Ilya Prigogine, and Werner Ebeling, it is evident that the inevitable decision at symmetric branching points always depends on chance and extremely small forces.

A positive aspect of this is that it is highly unlikely for any individual to intentionally trigger our increasingly probable downfall, so to speak, „prematurely“. Even individuals in positions of great power who may initiate a nuclear war would also mobilize successful counterforces and there would be survivors.Die Menschheit bliebe erhalten und triebe weiter auf den großen Symmetriebruch zu, dessen Zeitpunkt sich lediglich ändern würde. Denn alle Menschen hängen im Grunde am Leben, so dass am Bifurkationspunkt die Entscheidung zum Untergang letztlich nur durch Unfälle oder andere ungewollte zufällige Ereignisse zustande kommen kann.

The realization that can shift human development in a constructive direction and potentially save us, can only be consciously, thoughtfully, and intentionally introduced into the world by average individuals – specifically, members of the „middle class“ who possess above-average power and effectively utilize their access to mass media and the internet, perhaps even reading the weekly newspaper „der Freitag“…

… because in order for any person to gain this conceivable saving knowledge, they would have to understand themselves primarily as a living being and mammal of our species, and define themselves less by their affiliation to a nation, profession, or social class. An individual who feels equal to all other humans could most easily be the first to discover that in the future, we can indeed peacefully coexist. This conceivable possibility of refraining from all hostilities in the future and peacefully coordinating all human activities arises from the biological foundations of our drives and desirable goals. The first crucial point is that our early pre-human ancestors were originally not able to compel themselves to the vital activities that we now refer to as work and organize collectively through division of labor. „Normal“ mammals and birds are relatively closely related in this regard. They perform all vital activities such as nest building, brood care, food procurement, or exploration of new environments and all other learning processes because they have the corresponding drives. These are also referred to as „higher needs.“ They complement the organic basic needs that drive food intake and ensure optimal water content of the body, optimal body temperatures, and optimization of other physical conditions. The higher needs are the drives for precautionary measures to ensure that the organic basic needs can be satisfactorily met. I learned that these higher needs are specifically referred to as „productive needs“ in Ute Holzkamp-Osterkamp’s two-volume work „Foundations of Psychological Motivation Research.“ Especially in the first volume, she described, from my perspective, the behavioral biological foundations of the future work world already in the 1970s. We can collaborate peacefully in the future by consciously and coordinately following our natural drives. Under such conditions, every person has enough desire for all necessary achievements for a rich and happy life, so that there is no longer any interest in disputing others‘ work results.

Secondly, it is crucial to note that as humans, we possess an inexhaustible variety of behavioral possibilities, which also grants us an inexhaustible range of options to satisfy our needs in various ways. Therefore, no one should insist on finding satisfaction in a specific manner if it would compromise the happiness of others. Typically, the nature of our drives allows us to peacefully harmonize all our interests together, unless accidents or other catastrophes create exceptional circumstances. There are additional characteristics of our needs that further enhance the possibility of a peaceful and satisfying coexistence among all individuals. This includes the ability to arbitrarily decide whether a situation pleases us and if we can be content with it.

Wenn sich diese Erkenntnis rechtzeitig in unserer Welt herumspräche, könnten wir die Zerstörung unserer irdischen Lebensgrundlagen aufhalten und unsere natürlichen Lebensbedingungen in Zukunft gemeinsam erfolgreich bewirtschaften. Unser gemeinsames Ziel wäre dann immer wieder ein möglichst befriedigendes Leben für jeden von uns. Dann hätten wir den erforderlichen Entwicklungssprung in der Selbsterkenntnis geschafft, dessen Notwendigkeit sich aus dem heutigen Entwicklungsstand unserer Wissenschaft und Technik ergibt und würden uns damit weiterhin als eine lebenstüchtige biologische Art erweisen.

In order to present all of this in a plausible manner for a readership that is not engaged in direct conversation with me, theoretically, a thick book with over 1000 pages would be necessary. However, this is not practically achievable. But it is conceivable that somewhere on Earth, where someone has come to „the saving realization“ and could describe the way out of the crises of our time, it could also become fashionable to communicate peacefully through nonviolent communication. Then, the saving realization could flow into public discussions and spread worldwide. This would result in a veritable „outbreak of world peace“ because every person, at the deepest biological level of their thinking and feeling, fervently desires a most satisfying, happy life and can best fulfill this dream by purposefully collaborating peacefully together.
