Die Fernbedienung entgleitet der Sitzfläche und landet auf dem Teppich. Bettys Kopf sinkt unbequem auf einen Sesselwulst. Navins Großmutter wird gleich mit einem steifen Nacken aus ihrem komatösen Nickerchen erwachen.
Eduard ‚XY‘ Zimmermann is blaring on the television, way too loud for sensitive ears. Betty only finds the chairman of the International Frühschoppens, Werner Höfer, and news anchor Karl-Heinz Köpke as trustworthy as Ganoven-Ede.
Militante Ergebenheit
Bettys einziger männlicher Nachkomme hält einen Lieblingsplatz der zweiten Kategorie besetzt. Als Sohn der prekären, für Familienaufgaben und Vermögensbildung ungeeigneten Doris, bewacht er das ihm im Haus der Großeltern zugestandene Territorium mit nie nachlassender Aufmerksamkeit. Während die Mutter in einem ausgebauten Provisorium über dem Stall gemeinsam mit ihrem Lebensgefährten Raimund im eigenen Saft schmort, verteidigt Navin seine Spitzenposition am Ende der Nahrungskette im dynastischen Zentrum.
Navin vergöttert seinen Großvater Anton Steinbrecher. Mit militanter Ergebenheit bewahrt er sich die Thronfolgerrolle. Er sitzt am kolonial-antiken Manor House -Sekretär des Patriarchen – einem Schauplatz schierer Repräsentation. Als Legasthener, der nur fünf Jahre zur Schule ging, gehören bürgerliche Schreibtisch-Basics zu Antons verschleierten Schwachpunkten.

The taiga is thawing. In the thawing permafrost soil, one can find Stone Age equipment and fossil species from a prehistoric era that ended twelve thousand years ago with the Pleistocene.
At another crossword puzzle location, the word „Alien“ is missing. Navin does not doubt the existence of aliens and reptilians. In Vietnam, eight years ago, an underground jungle was discovered in a cave that is ten kilometers wide and forty stories high. The refuge houses a complete ecosystem with a river, sandy beaches, its own clouds, a partially autonomous flora and fauna, and stalagmites that can reach up to eighty meters in height. Two karst funnels (sinkholes) provide sunlight. Fossilized bat guano (Chiropterit) supplies natural fertilizer.
Researchers discovered amphibian species and the Vu-Quang antelope. For Navin, this aligns with reports from American soldiers claiming to have seen upright, bipedal lizards in the Vietnamese jungle.
