The focus of the event is the popular referendum „Socialization of large housing companies“. Various actors from civil society discuss the popular referendum and its implementation and significance for the initiatives in practice.
Die Veranstaltung zum Mietenprekariat ist eine Fortführung der Gesprächsrunde zur Vernissage der Ausstellung „20 x Protest“ von Christine Guth. Die Künstlerin verarbeitet und stellt die gegenwärtige schlimme Situation von Wohnungsknappheit und unbezahlbarem Wohnraum anhand der Tierwelt dar.

The conversation with two representatives from civil society and the reactions from the audience quickly demonstrated that voices from civil society, and especially their activism, play a central role in standing together for a fair change in the housing situation, free from classism and racism. The small goals and events stemming from civil engagement give hope for improvement in the midst of the crisis.
