The industry has a long wishlist because there is so much to do. However, time is of the essence and money is lacking for the modernization of the ports.
DThe main focus in Husum will be the ambitious goals for offshore wind power and what needs to be done to achieve them. From next Tuesday (September 12th), 600 exhibitors from the wind power, hydropower, storage technologies, and financial sectors will showcase their contributions to the energy transition. On a political level, the National Maritime Conference with 800 participants will also address these topics on September 14th and 15th in Bremen.
Was als „zentrale Veranstaltung der Bundesregierung zur Förderung der maritimen Wirtschaft“ apostrophiert wird, widmet sich zwar auch dem durch den Ukrainekrieg bedeutsamer gewordenen Marine-Sektor und der maritimen Sicherheit. Breiten Raum nimmt aber die Energiewende ein, die wegen der großen Bedeutung der Offshore-Windenergie für die maritime Wirtschaft ein echtes Konjunkturprogramm werden könnte.
