In dieser Woche wird im Bundestag über den Bundeshaushalt 2024 diskutiert. Am Mittwoch musste Bundeskanzler Olaf ScholzDuring the general debate, he justified the work of the traffic light government. In doing so, he proposed a „Germany Pact“ to accelerate the modernization of the Federal Republic and called on the opposition to support it. The opposition once again criticized the government for its work in the current legislative period. CDU leader Friedrich Merz, for example, criticized the government for not meeting the turning point in the Bundeswehr. Is the opposition’s criticism justified? In addition in the podcast: In a case against the EU border agency Frontex, a European court dismissed the lawsuit of a Syrian family on Wednesday. The family had sued because they were returned to Turkey from Greece before their asylum request in the EU was examined. The court rejected the lawsuit, stating that Frontex is not responsible for reviewing return decisions or asylum applications.
