HWerner Sinn has published a sharp critique of German climate policy in the F.A.Z., condemning the German approach as wrong and counterproductive. In response, energy economist Lion Hirth conducts a „reality check“ in the same publication, concluding that Sinn’s analysis is incorrect and Germany’s climate policy is right. However, Hirth does not provide facts that contradict Sinn’s claims, but rather presents opposing assertions. It is time to examine the facts.
