The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has confirmed that the G20 countries have agreed to a compromise for a joint closing statement. Initially, it was uncertain whether the countries would be able to reach a consensus on a shared closing statement due to the dispute over a clear condemnation of the Russian attack on Ukraine.
