Florian Teichtmeister: Ende mit Schrecken

When Florian Teichtmeister arrived, the gallows were already there. On Tuesday morning at half past seven, the Austrian actor entered the building of the Vienna Criminal Court through a side entrance to avoid the protesters who were waiting for him at the main entrance. The gallows that they had set up in front of the building were labeled with Teichtmeister’s name. His lawyer, the prominent defense attorney Rudolf Mayer, who boxes in his free time, entered the court with four security guards; the lawyer had received death threats. Florian Teichtmeister, once a celebrated actor, has become an outcast.
