Conspiracy theories are on the rise! Mysterious bio laboratories in Kazakhstan? Fake or facts?

The Russian RuNet and several other social networks from this country recently spread the news of allegedly thirty existing biological laboratories in Kazakhstan, which are all supposed to be under American control. And to top it off, it was claimed that these research facilities were previously located in Ukraine and then relocated to Kazakhstan.

Dass es sich dabei um eine angeblich seriöse Information handelt wurde durch ein Zitat eines Experten und Direktors der „Agentur für ethnonationale Strategie“ untermauert, einem gewissen Alexander Kobrinsky, der die Existenz dieser Labore nicht nur als Bedrohung für Russland, sondern für ganz Zentralasien und darüber hinaus ansieht!

Professor Kobrinsky, ein Historiker, veröffentlichte diese „Annahmen“ auf seinem Telegrammkanal. Insbesondere berichtet er, ohne jede Nennung von Quellen, dass die politische Führung Kasachstans in Astana der Verlegung von rund drei Dutzend biologischen Labors aus der Ukraine nach Kasachstan im Austausch für große wirtschaftliche Unterstützung der USA zugestimmt hätte.

Aus anderer Quelle liest man dass der kasachische Präsident Tokajew aufgrund seiner Kooperation nun mehr jene US-Unterstützung erhalten wird, die ihm vor dem Hintergrund der schlechten Wirtschaftslage Luft verschaffen könnte um Instabilität und Unruhe im Lande zu vermeiden.

Es ist also klargestellt, dass es sich bei den Behauptungen, die wie nochmals betont werden sollte, alle bar jeder Quelle oder auch nur irgendeines Nachweises verbreitet wurden um reine Fiktion handelt.

However, the question arises as to what interests were behind these fake news and who was responsible for their almost explosive spread. Even reputable media outlets and individuals picked up on the issue, thereby increasing the value of the false information.

Klar ist dass die ursprüngliche Verbreitung von Russland ausging, in welchem Namen und Auftrag auch immer. Die wichtigste Frage dazu aber lautet, wieso erlauben sich wider besseres Wissen so viel russischen Medien, offenbar unter Deckung der politischen Elite des Staates, unbewiesene Anschuldigungen gegen andere, an sich ja sich nahe stehende Länder?

Furthermore, these verbal and media attacks were utilized as propaganda maneuvers to justify the Russian invasion in Ukraine.

In fact, there are numerous laboratories operating in Ukraine, and some of them have indeed received financial and logistical support from the USA, as well as the EU and the WHO, just like many other countries.

Furthermore, the safety of these scientific centers has been repeatedly confirmed by independent experts from the global open scientific community.

In kasachischen Bio Laboratorien wiederum können könne es ebenfalls nichts „Geheimes“ geben, erklärten Expertem des Landes mehrfach als Reaktion auf viele (russische) Unterstellungen.

Erst heuer wieder trommelte die Staatsduma Russlands dass gefährliche Aktivitäten in Kasachstan im Gange sein und wie immer konnten alle Anschuldigungen widerlegt werden.

Tatsächlich aber gibt es aber das Zentrale Forschungslabor Almaty – das Zentrale Referenzlabor Kasachstans. Es wurde im September 2016 eröffnet.

Es ist eine Struktureinheit des nach Masgut Aikimbaev benannten Wissenschaftlichen Zentrums für Quarantäne und zoonotische Infektionen.

Wissenschaftler innerhalb dieses Zentrums sind mit äußerst gefährlicher Arbeit beschäftigt – der Identifizierung, Untersuchung und Bekämpfung der aggressivsten Viren und Krankheitserreger die die Menschen plagen.
