Auch der Dienstleistungssektor trug zum positiven Ergebnis bei. After only two years of construction, Tesla began production of electric cars in Grünheide, Brandenburg in 2022. Currently, approximately 250,000 cars are produced at the location each year. However, Tesla is significantly expanding its facility in Grünheide. According to the company, the goal is to have a production capacity of one million cars per year. 22,500 employees are planned for the production expansion. The new manufacturing facility is expected to be operational, at least in part, as early as next year.
