Nach der massiven Beschädigung der Oberleitungsanlage am Münchner Hauptbahnhof rollt der Zugverkehr dort langsam wieder an. Das teilte die Deutsche Bahn am späten Donnerstagabend mit: »Züge des Fern- und Regionalverkehrs können den Hauptbahnhof wieder anfahren.«

On Friday, long-distance and regional transportation is expected to resume mostly as usual. However, there might still be a few train cancellations in the morning.
„The S-Bahn traffic on the main line will remain significantly restricted until late at night,“ the Deutsche Bahn announced. The S-Bahn trains are expected to resume regular operations on the main line at the start of service.
Bagger beschädigt Oberleitungen
According to initial findings, a digger damaged a complete crossbeam structure that spans the overhead lines across all tracks of the Munich-Laim area during construction work for the second S-Bahn trunk line. As a result, the route between the main station and Munich-Pasing was shut down.
Der Fern- und Regionalverkehr sowie der Verkehr auf der S-Bahn-Stammstrecke der Landeshauptstadt wurden mit wenigen Ausnahmen komplett eingestellt. Der Münchner Hauptbahnhof konnte lange nicht angefahren werden. »Die DB entschuldigt sich ausdrücklich für die Unannehmlichkeiten bei ihren Fahrgästen«, hieß es.
